From the inside cover of the 1994 Town Report:
Traditionally, the cover of a town's annual report is used to honor a community member or cherished landmark. This year, Clarendon invited the elementary school to illustrate the report cover. Art teacher Clare Villars invited a few students from grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 to express in drawings the most special things to them about living in the Clarendon area. It is evident from their work that this community offers much for children to enjoy, grow and take pride in. Thank you for honoring the children!
