This 1904 political campaign tag was found in Chippenhook. Alton B. Parker of New York was the Democratic Party Presidential nominee in 1904 to run against Theodore Roosevelt. Parker's running mate was Henry G. Davis of West Virginia. Parker-Davis lost in an electoral landslide 336 to 140 with a popular vote of 58% Roosevelt to 38% Parker.
