This ca. 1820 home is on Creek Rd.  At the time of the 1869 map compilation it was the home of Moses Warren Kelley (1824 - 1890) and his wife Elizabeth Azuba (Benson) Kelley (1828 - 1902).  The Kelleys were living there prior to 1854 when they sold the property to Eli & Eli L Holden who soon after sold it back to the Kelleys.  Moses was the brother of Erastus Kelley (see Erastus Kelley House in this collection).  Moses and Elizabeth only had one surviving child, Alice Warren (Kelley) Barrett (ca. 1852 - 1923) who married James Barrett (1839 - 1919) and had two sons.  Their daughter Laura E. Kelley died of typhoid fever in 1863 shortly before her 17th birthday.

This home may have been built by William Bromley who owned the property from 1809 - 1833.
