This ca. 1920-21 photo shows the East Tinmouth Rd home of Theodore and Winifred (Hulett) Woodward.  Living with them was their widowed daughter Winona (Woodward) Raiche and her children Joseph Raiche b. 9/14/1912, Charles Theodore Raiche b. 10-28-1913, Winifred Raiche b. 3-19-1915, & Louis Raiche b. 8-28-1917.  In Jan. 1920 this household was living in Danby.  There was an additional child Clinton, then 13 months old at the time of that 1920 census taken in Danby.  A record of Clinton's death has not been found and it is unknown if he was with the family still when they moved to Clarendon. The father of all these children, Charles Raiche, had died 2-3-1919 of pneumonia & flu, thus likely a victim of the Spanish Flu pandemic.

At the time of the 1930 census, grandparents Theodore & Winifred Woodward and the three oldest Raiche children, Joseph, Charles Theodore, & Winifred were still living here.  Winona had married George Herrick in 1922 and was living in Wallingford with him, son Louis Raiche, and her three additional children that she had with George Herrick; George b. 1922, Norma Jane b. 1925, and Janice b. 1926.

At the time of the 1940 census, Joseph was living here with his wife Zeola (Wilbur) Raiche, his first two children Joseph Jr & Wilbur, his brother Theodore, and his now widowed grandmother Winifred Woodward.   An additional son, Leon, was subsequently born.
