We do not know when this Rt 103 house was built or who lived there.  The house was technically in Shrewsbury just over the line from Clarendon but it is captured here as it was where the current Appalachian Trailhead at Clarendon Gorge is.  All that remains is a lilac bush that would have been in the front yard.

These photos are courtesy of the Poulin Collection at Middlebury College.  In the 1960's Francis Poulin walked the entire length of the right of way of the Rutland Railroad and took photographs.  This photo captured this home in the background of one of his shots.

Closer up photos of this home and data on its history would be much appreciated.
