This bridge built in 1902 is still in use for rail traffic crossing the Cold River.  The construction is strikingly similar to the former bridge built in 1928 that crossed the Cold River in North Clarendon Village on what is now Rt 7B North.  That 1928 bridge was a National Historic Register landmark which was torn down in 2006.  See the Cold River Bridge, Rt 7B North and National Register - Cold River Bridge entries in this collection for information on the similar 1928 bridge.
