This site is deep in the woods to the west of West Tinmouth Rd in the southern part of town.  In the absence of a well defined cellar hole, that there was a dwelling or similar use here is evidenced by the artifacts seen below that are typical of late 1700's artifacts. The site as well has a lot of iron audio signals indicating a home/cabin site. A small pottery shard and piece of an iron cooking pot were also found here. The visual only offers a small 3x3x 2 deep depression that could have been a well.  The red line drawn in the photo shows the location of the former stagecoach road.

The site is a little north of Stagecoach Rd Site #1 found in this collection.  It is on what is being termed an old stagecoach road that was gone prior to the 1854 map being created.  Who lived here and when are not known.  This former road had been a postal route from Manchester to Rutland.
