This ca. 1840 Airport Rd house was likely built by Horace Kingsley (1806 - 1886) and his 1st wife (Rest Winnie Perkins) Kingsley (1812 - 1845).  They had 4 children.  Horace married a 2nd time to Rachel Fuller Bliss (1818 - 1883) with whom he had 4 more children.

This property had been part of the William Carpenter (1754 - 1816) farm.  Horace acquired this then 219 property in 1838 for $1,500 from his father-in-law Moses Perkins (1786 - 1858) who had acquired it that same year from William's widow Susanna (Congdon) Carpenter (1758 - 1844) and grandson Calvin Spencer (1801 - 1870).

These photos are courtesy of Phil Mandolare in 2020.  We would be most appreciative of any older photos of this house that might be available.
