The Raiche home lost to fire Jan. 27,1961 was on Walker Mountain Rd across from the intersection with East Tinmouth Rd.  It was originally the home of Lewis Walker (1745-1813) and his wife Hannah (Cooper) Walker (1745 - 1821) who were amongst the early settlers of Clarendon.  All that remains is part of the foundation of the barn.

The Raiches were Louis Raiche (1917 - 2006) and Edith (Wood) Raiche (1924 - 2005). This article was found amongst the Flora Weeks (1905 - 2002) papers.
