Starting approximately a year before the US was attacked at Pearl Harbor the US had seven draft registration campaigns for WWII. The 4th campaign in the spring of 1942 called for all men 45 - 64 years of age to register. The article below lists the men from Clarendon who registered as part of that "old men's" registration campaign as it was popularly termed.
The cover photo is of one of the registration cards for one of the men mentioned in the article, Ralph Minard (1892 - 1969).
Also in the article is mention of the Ladies Aid Society of the Congregational Church (the Brick Church) raising money for the war effort.
