The ballfield at the corner of Walker Mountain Rd & Quarterline Rd. has been there since about 1980 but an exact year hasn't been determined yet nor who built it. It replaced a ballfield on the southwest corner of the intersection of Walker Mountain Rd and Firehouse Rd when a house was constructed on that site.
See the
Original Chippenhook Baseball Field
entry in this collection for a photo of the field that this field replaced.
The 1st two photos below are from June 17, 2003 courtesy of Phil Mandolare from a game between the two Clarendon teams, the Blue Jays and the Catamounts. They show 12 year old Shawn Mandolare at bat and Blue Jays coach Eric Jensen (white shirt) and the other Shawn Mandolare and Allen White. Below that are photos of a game played on May 20, 2019 courtesy of Bob Underhill.
