This is not a bridge but rather a stone wall crossing a stream deep in the woods off of East Street.  Stone walls line both sides of an ancient roadway that is probably a couple hundred years old.  It lies in a hollow between an old cellar hole on the north side and a corral or pen of some sorts on the south side.  See the Haven Hill Orchard Cellar Hole entry in the Cellar Hole collection for more info on the site.

To the east the mountain rises sharply yet this stream crossing built so long ago has withstood whatever torrent has come racing down the mountain or blockage caused by snow, ice, or debris.

Who built it and when are unknown and this site was likely gone before the 1854 and 1869 maps were compiled as it doesn't appear on either.
