This Schoolhouse Hill Road cellar hole does not match any home shown on the 1854 or 1869 maps.  When it was built, for who, and how long it survived are not known.  There is a large quarry pit of unknown history immediately behind the cellar hole on the north side.  The house is approximately 20' x 24' or 480 sq. ft with a porch extending out about 6' on the east side.  Whether there was  a second floor is not known.  There is cement wall in the interior of the cellar which is not as high as the exterior walls.  That would be a more modern modification of unknown purpose sometime after the original construction.
